Abstract

If there are Congolese writers who enjoy worldwide fame, Kama Sywor Kamanda is one of them. In addition to his prolificacy and versatility, this writer is remarkable for the countless international prizes and distinctions he and his work have received. But paradoxically, he is the least known writer in his country. Thus, the objective of this article is to repair this ignorance by making him known to his compatriots in order to arouse their interest in him.
